23/04: the celebrations taking place to mark the Diada de Sant Jordi, or St. George’s Day, may affect the Barcelona Bus Turístic service in the city centre throughout the day.

29/04: due to the FC Barcelona match taking place at the Olympic Stadium, there will be no Red Route service to the Plaça d’Espanya and Montjuïc area from 6 pm.

Barcelona Bus Turístic takes you to one of the city’s most modern areas, designed in the first decade of the 21st century. This is the location of the Parc del Fòrum, a large collection of spaces for events and the Natural Sciences Museum of Barcelona.

A modern architecture and recreational complex

The Fòrum stop of the Green Route of Barcelona Bus Turístic reaches the point where Avinguda Diagonal almost touches the sea. The area is dominated by the Parc del Fòrum, which encompasses all the facilities created for the Universal Forum of Cultures, which was held in Barcelona in 2004, the Blue Museum site of the Natural Sciences Museum of Barcelona, and the Diagonal Mar shopping centre.

The Parc del Fòrum is a large space recovered from the sea that is used to hold concerts, conferences and other events, and features the famous triangular building designed by the architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron. On the other side of the Ronda del Litoral coast road is the Blue Museum, where you can take a trip through the history of life on Earth and see the skeleton of a whale that was found on Llançà beach in 1862. Just opposite the museum is the Diagonal Mar shopping centre, one of Catalonia’s largest.
