A stop where you can follow a route along the coastal area that was recovered for the Barcelona 1992 Olympic Games. With the Green Route of Barcelona Bus Turístic you can enjoy more than four kilometres of beaches and a large marina.
A route along the Olympic coastline
The Green Route of Barcelona Bus Turístic starts its coastal route at the Port Olímpic stop, where you can smell the Mediterranean Sea. On each side of Carrer de la Marina, overlooking the sea, are two skyscrapers that separate Somorrostro beach from the new harbour designed for the 1992 Olympic Games: the Torre Mapfre and the Hotel Arts, at the bottom of which you can see the spectacular fish sculpture designed by Frank Gehry.
From here you can enjoy the bar terraces and leisure establishments of the harbour or take a walk through the Olympic Village, where the athletes who participated in the 1992 Summer Olympic Games stayed and is now a residential area characterised by the breadth of its streets and its numerous green spaces.
