An 18th-century palace with a Modernista portal is home to figurative and realist works from the 21st century. The European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM), which presents an extensive collection of works by living artists, is located in the old Palau Gomis, a Neoclassical construction with a surface area of 1,700 m².
