Barcelona Zoo has ten different spaces where you can find all types of animals. It was inaugurated in 1892 at Ciutadella Park on a plot that formed part of the facilities built for the 1888 Universal Exposition. Barcelona Zoo’s fundamental aims are conservation, research and education.
